Federalists, Anitfederalists, and Our Constitution...

Hey Guys and Gals,

Get out your SYNTHESIS from yesterday and please type it up in a word document.  Please hand your typed and printed synthesis in before you leave today.

As you finish typing up your synthesis take a peek at this...
Who were the Federalists and Antifederalists?

As we continue to look at the beginning of our Nation after the Revolution, think about how we are meeting this learning target during our studies....

Moving On: The U.S. Constitution

Happy Connect Day Everyone!

The end of the trimester was last Friday and we are moving on in our journey through history.  Please view the Brainpop below before continuing on with the rest of the post.
http://www.brainpop.com/socialstudies/ushistory/usconstitution/

The Founding Fathers and American colonists won!  Now what?  They are faced with an unimaginable task...  To govern themselves.  Will their be complete anarchy?  Will we be able to control ourselves and each other?  The constitution helped us navigate those waters.

What is the Constitution?
Why is it important?
What went into making the Constitution?
How many parts make up he Constitution?
The Constitution

Set up a clean sheet of Cornell Notes and let's get started.  Here is our learning target as we make a new start...
