Elements of Fiction: Plot & Point of View...

 Happy Monday Y'all,

Today is Monday, October 17, 2016.  Last week our focus was heavy on CHARACTER & SETTING.  We are going to change the scope this week onto PLOT and POINT OF VIEW.  Plot is a big subject to cover with many parts.  Story plots can be complex and challenging to analyze.  Please do your best to attentively listen, engage, participate, and write down notes as we discuss so that you will all have a complete resource to look back on if you get confused.

On this fine Monday I get to share one of my favorite Vsauces with you.  Michael talks with us about perception.  Perception is like POINT OF VIEW.  Point of view is how we see things in the world.  Like a fictional story, point of view shapes experiences.  I hope you find this as fascinating as I do.  We will think of the question: Is Your Red the Same as My Red?  Have fun and enjoy!

Sincerely,
Mr. C
P.S. Perception dictates reality.
