Camel Day: Review, Test, Repeat...

 Happy Camel Day Kiddies,

Today is Wednesday, September 28, 2016.  I haven't kept up with my Totally Tubular Tuesday posts, but Wednesday has been my day for recovery.  Today is a big day because we are going to try and revisit certain concepts that may still be confusing us.  Our grammar test is tomorrow so things like parts of speech, subjects, predicates, phrases, and clauses need to be in the front of our minds.  With a little review today, I'm confident that most of you will blow this test out of the water.  Hey! You sunk my battleship (grammar test)!

As promised, here is our TED Talk of the week.  It is one of my favorites (I know I say that a lot).  This Ted Talk is about children and how lying may be normal for their developing minds.  It does a great job discussing a concept called Theory of Mind.  Theory of Mind is something that is needed to be successful at deception: making someone believe something that is not true.  Do you think you can spot a kid that lies?  I bet you can't.  Good luck, have fun, and enjoy!

Sincerely,
C

P.S. This last Brainpop on sentence fragments is gnarly!!
