Async Day 1: Farming, Agriculture, & The Neolithic Revolution...

Good Morning and Good Day Lovelies,

Image result for agricultural revolution
Happy async day everyone!  Today is Friday, September 25, 2015.  If I were in your shoes, I would love to have some time to myself today.  Your friendly neighborhood social studies teacher volunteered to post the async work today.  So, Cougar House's async assignment is fairly simple.

As you probably know, we have been talking about, watching, and reading about AGRICULTURE.  The invention of farming was probably the most important invention/innovation human beings ever discovered.     Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to define agriculture, find a photo/image that represents agriculture, and give an example of agriculture today.  Below is a new video that may help you.  Good luck and good hunting.

Love, peace, and taco grease,

Mr. C

An example of agriculture today is a wheat farm that grows wheat.

Hope other people comment too until then have a good weekend Mr. C.

Agriculture is when you domesticate and/or grow and raise plants and animals. One example of modern agriculture using animals is raising cattle and then using them for dairy and meat. Another example for plants is growing things such as corn and wheat. The corn agriculture has done so well that it's been over produced...

Here's the photo (hopefully it works, I'm doing this on a phone so I don't know)

I hope that Troy and I aren't the only people who did this, it was actually very educating and helped me understand it more I guess. Hope you have a good weekend!

Agriculture is the domestication and/or growing and raising of plants and animals for food and possibly other things, such as wool or leather. One example of modern agriculture is using cows for things such as leather, dairy, and beef. With plants there's corn and wheat. Corn has been doing so good that it's been overproduced.
